SciGuide is an electronic directory of foreign and Russian open access scientific resources on the Internet. The aim of the directory is to assist users to locate open access academic and scholarly content and to facilitate science communication for researchers and experts of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS). The directory is being developed jointly by the Branch and the Department of Collection Development and Acquisitions of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS.

*Authorea (authorea.com)  ► Authorea is the leading collaborative platform to read, write, and publish research. Founded in late 2012 with the mission of accelerating scientific discovery. Both an online writing tool and preprint hosting platform, Authorea is designed for the creation and rapid dissemination of modern open research.
*Crossref (www.crossref.org)* An official Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Registration Agency of the International DOI Foundation. It is run by the Publishers International Linking Association Inc. (PILA) and was launched as a cooperative effort among publishers to enable persistent cross-publisher citation linking in online academic journals.
*Disseropedia of Russian Journals (dissernet.org)* A list of Russian journals taken from the extended list of the Higher Attestation Commission (including such bibliometric databases as AGRIS, RSCI WoS, Scopus and others) that show signs of unethical editorial policy.
*Open Policy Finder (openpolicyfinder.jisc.ac.uk/)  ► Helping authors and institutions to make informed and confident decisions in open access publication and compliance. Formerly Sherpa services.
*PLOS (www.plos.org)*A nonprofit open-access science, technology and medicine publisher, innovator and advocacy organization with a library of open-access journals and other scientific literature under an open-content license.
*Publications (www.mdpi.com/journal/publications)*An international peer-reviewed open access journal on scholarly publishing published quarterly online by MDPI. Indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI - Web of Science), Scopus from Vol. 5 (2017) and other databases.
*Publishers Weekly (www.publishersweekly.com)*International Book & Bookselling News, Reviews, Bestsellers.
